Every friday we post a few interesting videos to enjoy for the weekend. This friday, I’m posting a video I just shot on the GH3. If you read my updated review on the Panasonic GH3, I mentioned I shot a few events with it. This Sweet 16 is one of those events.
Now, if you know anything about sweet 16’s in New Jersey, you know they are the perfect test for a camera. The lighting is dark, the DJ has strobes, beams, and numerous other flashes, and no one gives you any room to shoot. It is the definition of run & gun.
I can safely say the GH3 handled it better then I expected, but the results always speak the loudest. Judge for yourself.
The Rundown
- No lights or rig.
- one camera (gh3)
- 2 lenses: Voigtlander 25 mmm f0.95 & Noktor SLR Magic 12 mm t1.6 (f1.4)
- Cut in premiere pro. Finished with Colorista II, the Fast Color Corrector, and some rampant light leaks/film grain.
